Right onto the second post about christmas…I know it is still only November, but with the school holidays fast approaching it is always as great ideas as any to get an early start. So this week we are concentrating on the girls in your life, mothers, sisters, girlfriends, grandmothers, best friends, aunties and so on. With so many different personalities and life passions it can be very hard to figure out that perfect gift for each and every person, and sometimes it can seem a little thoughtless when getting a gift voucher, taking the easy way out. Mind you I have defiantly been there, especially when there are just way to many things to choose from. In my house this year we have a little rule going for each family member, we are only allowed to spend a maximum of $100 per person (that still does add up though when there are 5 of us). So I guess here goes nothing then, girly gifts for all the ladies in your life.
Being a fan of the novelty clutch bag (already owning, eyes, lips, birdcages and an oversized tube of lipstick) the steam train purse by kate spade is amazing! Oh and it features 14-karat light gold plated hardware!
One of these GlassHouse Candles lasts me (burning it everyday for up to 5 hours) almost three months! the sent is amazing and it really helps to create a welcoming and warm house.
“Capturing the exotic Caribbean charm and laid-back attitude, Montego Bay combines Lemon and Lime oils, Vanilla, Amber, Mandarin and Coconut. Chill out and relax to a tropical bongo beat. Our Triple-Scented Candles are handmade in Australia, using the highest quality non-toxic wax and natural lead-free cotton wicks.”
The decision maker, I defiantly know that this would come in handy for me, ‘to go for a bike ride or not to go for a bike ride?’ you have got to love Kate Spade for her silly but practical gift ideas!
From my time in the UK I have become a little bit of a tea drinker, it was either ‘Coffee or Tea?’ offered to us at interviews and at friends and because I loath Coffee, Tea was the only option. So now I have a little cup every now and then, just to remember my time in the UK and to kick start a little day dream about all the adventures we had there.

Everyone loves a good book, especially when it is about shoes!

With a new year comes the need for a new diary, it is a pity most people use their tablets and computers as a diary and to keep a schedule, I on the other hand have a love of tactile pieces, I like too be able to look back at the diary a few years latter and see what I was doing and how far I have come. I spent a while a couple of nights ago flicking through my diary from last year, looking about what I wrote about my time up on the ski fields and the people I met and still see today, looking at all the humble beginnings. Any way this diary is packed full of inspiration and ideas and I Know for a fact that Britt has gotten me this as apart of my present from her!
